Literature as we know it is changing. It is moving from Penguin Classics Paperback Novels, to Amazon Kindles and iPads. Our children may never know who William Blake or John Keats are; however they may learn of Salman Rushdie or J.R.R. Tolkien, the writers that are shaping our Literature today.

That being said, I'd like to introduce you to LaptopLit.com, an initiative started by my dear friend Vanessa Rebello, to share her take on fiction and life as she sees it in a thousand words or less, thrice a week. Together with up coming and talented writers featured every Friday, it may very well be the Literature Syllabus of the near future ... and I wouldn't be surprised.
